Operation Christmas Meal
Pork Loins and Open Car Windows. It's Our Kind of Holiday Tradition.
Every December since 2011, the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation has loaded up trucks with five-pound pork loins and driven them out to communities across Iowa. No requirements. No paperwork. Just food for anyone who could use a good holiday meal.

About Operation Christmas Meal
Operation Christmas Meal runs every December throughout rural Iowa communities. Hundreds of Iowa Select Farms employees volunteer on their own time, handing pork loins through car windows to anyone who drives through the line.
The spirit of the program runs in both directions. Those who need a meal come for themselves. Those who don’t are invited to take a loin for someone they know: an elderly neighbor, a struggling family down the road, a single parent making it work on a tight budget.

Our Committment
Supporting families fighting childhood cancer came from a place deep in the hearts of Jeff and Deb Hansen, not from a strategic plan. It started personally, and it has stayed personal ever since.
Our programs here aren’t designed to take away the weight of a diagnosis. They’re designed to create breathing room. A weekend away. A space to gather. A community of people who understand.
